Okay, I know what you're thinking, What do you mean, there's no right way to launch a course. And that's exactly what I'm going to talk about today, you have been searching for the holy grail that just doesn't exist. And it's okay. The reason you have is because you've been misled by other people's marketing and other people's messaging that says that there is a right way. But at the end of the day, all that fancy messaging does is create desire and demand for their way of doing things. But what if instead of worrying about the right way to do things, you started to worry about the way that felt the best to you. I don't believe that there's any one right way to do anything in life. So why would your business be any different? The way that you do things is unique to you. And so your business should be unique to the way that you do things to Now, of course, there are marketing principles in general business things that are standard, and there is a right way to like do your books, for example, don't recommend not doing them. But in general, there is no a one right way to launch. There is no perfect launch mechanism. There is no one right strategy, there is not one perfect way of doing things. So instead of standing there waiting to find the right way, the best way is to do it in a way that feels good to you. And there's only one way to figure out what that is. And that's to try a lot of things first, launching and growing a business are something that you have to be experimental with in order to learn how it works for you. And really, this is something that we have figured out and use in our lives a million times leading up to now it's really only until we get into something like building a business that we realized like Oh crap, I need to find the right way to do it. Can you imagine what it would have been like if your parents did were trying to teach you how to walk, but they were trying to do it the right way? And if God forbid you took a step, but it wasn't the right way to take a step. They decided that you weren't ready to do it. Right. Can you imagine other things in your life like riding a bike, or learning math or learning to read and having to do with the one right way and then deciding if you couldn't figure out the right way that you've just couldn't learn? That makes no sense. Instead, we had to find the right way for us. We had to find the right way of putting our foot down to keep those steps moving, we had to find the right way for us to balance on a bike, you had to find the right way for you to learn how to read, you had to find the right way for you to learn math. Again, sure, there are math principles, like addition, subtraction, multiplication, but the way that you do that math in your head is probably very different from anyone else. And if you want to know exactly how different ask somebody say, hey, when you add three plus seven, in your mind, what does your brain do? And I guarantee that they do something different in their brain than you do. And that's because your way of doing math is very specific to the way that your brain works. So why would launching be any different? There is no one right way. But you do have to find the right way for you, in order to grow your business in a way that not only feels good, but feels in alignment. I cannot tell you how many people have come to me and said that they bought a launch course. And they followed it step by step. And they did everything exactly right. And they still didn't get results. And that's because the entire way that they were doing all of those step by steps that somebody else told them that they had to do, they were missing one big thing. And that was alignment that was feeling good about what they were doing. If you are doing something that you don't feel good about, how do you think you're going to do it? Do you think you're going to get the best results? If in your body? You don't want to do something? Do you think that it will translate? Do you think it will work? Well, this is something that's such an important conversation to have around digital marketing, because the energy transfer of what you're doing is coming across, you may not realize it, but the way that you write things, or the way that you feel about things when you're doing it comes across, like the energy that you have is conveyed through that experience. So if you're going live, but you hate going live, do you think that people watching it are going to enjoy it? Or do you think it's going to be painful for them, your energy is conveyed through every single piece of that. So doing things that feel good to you, is a huge way to find the right way that works for you. And it's the only way for it to be successful, you will never be wildly successful doing things the way you were not meant to do them. But I totally get it. That's hard, right? Because you're doing something new. You want somebody else who knows the way to show you exactly how to do it. And so instead of looking for the exact step by step, start looking for people who can teach you the general principles who can tell you what you need to know that are tried and true principles, not a super specific step by step system that may or may not be duplicatable for you. And then instead of looking for it to be the right way. And then if it doesn't work exactly like they said it would tell yourself that it's wrong. Start getting curious, stop putting so much attachment on things being right and working 100% of the time in start observing the way that things feel. Maybe you're trying a strategy that involves sending DMS, but every time you go to dam, somebody you freeze, you feel weird about it, you don't know what to say, and you never want to hit send, pay attention to that. That is your energy telling you what's in alignment for you and what isn't. Does that mean that sending dams is not a good strategy. No. But it means that it may not be the best strategy for you and paying attention to that feeling is what's going to guide you to something that's better. And so instead of forcing the things that don't feel good, lean into the things that do feel good. How would it feel to show up for your audience in a way that feels 100% in alignment to you. And what if instead of forcing it, you just got to be in the energy that made you feel good all of the time. And trust that that is what created creates magnetism with your audience, that that's what they become attracted to. So instead of looking for it to be the right way, get curious, start experimenting with new things in pay attention to how you feel and how they're working in your business. Because nothing will work if it doesn't feel good for you. And if you don't want to do it. So if you're resisting doing a webinar, look for something else. If you don't want to send dmws figure out another strategy. There is always something else that you can do to find the way that feels the best for you, instead of looking for the one right way to do something. And the other thing I wanted to talk about is this whole idea of pass fail. We are living our lives and running business. From this paradigm that either you are doing it right and you will succeed, or you are doing it wrong, and you will fail. And ultimately this bilateral paradigm comes from this schooling that we experienced in this indoctrination, that good is right and bad is bad. Like, you have to do it right, there's a right and a wrong, a pass and fail a good and a bad, a victorious and failure, right? We have this very polarized paradigm of what success and failure are. And we label ourselves as such, either I am successful, or I am a failure. But at the end of the day, business is not bilateral business is a spectrum. And success is a spectrum. And it's not pass fail. It's not like one day, you're like, Okay, yes, I am failing a business, okay, yes, I am passing at business, I am a success, or I am a failure. It is about being willing to experiment with new things, and being willing to fail, in order to find your way to success. One of the most powerful phrases that I came across and really adopted as a life mantra, when I started my business was this idea that my success is inevitable. And if you've ever seen a video of me likely seeing that quote right behind me, because I keep it very close. Because this belief is exactly the beliefs that I took on, that allowed me to shift this mindset, from this pass fail mentality, to really this spectrum where failure was not only inevitable, but in fact encouraged. And then if I wasn't failing, I wasn't succeeding, either. Because rather than looking at failure as the opposite of success, I started to look at failure as a mechanism to success. Because it wasn't until I failed that I figured out what I needed to do, or not do to be successful. And rather than looking at failure as having meaning that I wasn't good enough, or that I would never be successful, I decided to look at failure as a teacher and a lesson of what I needed to be shown and learn through in order to be successful, we tend to think that business and life is a fork in the road, that if we go left, we will be successful. And if we go right, we will be a failure. And at the end of those road roads is an ultimate destination. But instead, I started looking at it as success was a mountain. And failure was an every single path that you take. And when you get to that point of failure, you don't just jump off of the cliff and die and decide, well, it goes live, I'll know, you turn around, you take a turn, you walk up another path, and you keep searching for another way to reach that ultimate success. Because at the end of the day, your success is inevitable in the failure that it's going to take to get there is inevitable, too. And it's all adding up in your favor. And it's all getting you to the place that you need to be to have what you ultimately want. And so really getting out of this bilateral mindset of pass fail, success, failure. And really getting into this mindset, where everything is a lesson, and it's all working for me. And it's all what I meant experience. In order to get where I ultimately want to go, that mindset is going to completely shift the way that you launch. And you grow your business in general. So if you are sitting here feeling low key called out about the right way to launch, that's okay. This can be a really jarring realisation. And it's one though, that I really hope that you sit with and that you really integrate and think, what am I searching for? What What am I afraid of happening? or What am I afraid will happen if I do something and it isn't instantly successful? And what external validation Am I looking for, for somebody to tell me that I'm doing it the right way? And what else can I look for inside of myself to know that I'm doing it the right way? Why am I trusting some guy on the internet marketing plan more than I trust myself. And when you stop looking to those external forces, and start tuning inward and start listening to your internal guidance system, and start paying attention to those gut feelings, and following those, and learning general marketing principles, but not specific launch strategies, that's when you'll find the one that's going to work for you that experimentation and being willing to fail. And trusting that the failures are an opportunity to redirect you closer to success. And so that's my message for you today, that there is no right way to launch. But that's a really beautiful and freeing thing. Can you imagine if there was only one way to do things, that would be awful because then we would never have innovation then we would never learn new things and we would never Find the thing that we are meant to do. And I believe that we are complex human beings who are put here to put our mark on the world. And if we had to do things one specific way, we would never do that. And so I wanted to share this message with you today. If you've been trapped in this perfectionist mindset, looking for the right way to do things, and really share with you this lesson about trusting yourself, trusting your intuition, trusting the experimentation process, and really being willing to try new things to find the right way for you, which is exactly what we do in the lab, I help students find the right way that feels good to them so that they can launch in alignment, rather than launching according to Stan's marketing plan, and really find the way that works for them so they can build that sustainable business. So that's what I have for you today. And next week, I'm going to be talking about something else, and I don't really know what it is right now. But make sure you tune in because it's going to be interesting, and I'll see you in my next episode.
